I am glad to see Nutella is getting so popular in the USA now. It has been around for ages. In Europe, Nutella was their version of “peanut butter”. You do see peanut butter in Europe now, but Nutella was always the main staple..

If you want to cut the sugar (because Jif is a sweetened peanut butter – it also has “fully hydrogenated” oil), you could use Rawtella. More expensive, but the ingredients are way better. But if you’re used to Nutella’s sweetness you may not like it.
My son loves his Nutella. We don’t stock it at home but it is a special morning treat when he is at Nana’s for breakfast! He especially likes it on waffles with bananas.
